COFFEE ROASTING
Coffee is a brewed drink prepared from roasted coffee beans, the seeds of berries from certain Coffea species. Once ripe, coffee berries are picked, processed, and dried. Dried coffee seeds (referred to as "beans") are roasted to varying degrees, depending on the desired flavor. Roasted beans are ground and then brewed with near-boiling water to produce the beverage known as coffee.
Dynamic Exhaust and Cooling flow
Separate exhaust and cooling fans mean complete control during continuous roasting. Each coffee roasters are all about the air flow. Some of small drum roasters pull air through the rear of the drum conveying around 80% of the heat which is over need to roast coffee. twinoroasters.com
Long time ago, coffee roasters had a single control speed fan, a manual damper to shunt air between the drum and the cooling tray. Nowadays, most of the roasters provides mechanical air control where mechanical detents are the only way to indicate how much air is passing through the drum. Our roasters provide electronic variable speed exhaust fans and separate cooling fans and cooling unit’s mixing arms. The advantage of cooling fan means fast cool down of the beans and better taste of coffee.
